The electrical connections are securely enclosed and also coated in a matte white glaze. The cord twist is made from brown silk weave, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.
The shade design is a fabulous whitewash glaze, with a hand-carved texture, that looks amazing.

I just received it today, took a while for the shipment. It came in a beat up box. I havent installed it yet so I dont know how complicated it is but the pendant is beautiful and a bit bigger than I imagined.

Awesome pendant! Love the ceramic shade and brass socket. The cord is a heavy tan colored twisted cord if that helps.
