Im very happy with this lamp. It's light (weight) but doesn't feel cheap and stays on my dresser nicely. The light is very white but not too harsh and does its job well. Great when I'm waking up at 4am for work. I highly recommend for the price especially if it's on sale

I didnt measure the space I was putting this lamp in my husbands office. It needs to be larger; however, I am keeping because I like the lampshade shape, color provided when light bulb is on and my husband really likes the touch features to turn it on.
