To celebrate our 30th anniversary, the RBS Cactus Lamp 2019 is on display at The Golden Triangle. The designer's work ranges widely in scale, material, and process, demonstrating a refined understanding of materials and aesthetic simplicity. Recently, the designer received global recognition for his ice cast vessels and sand cast resin furniture. While creating sand furniture, his studio floor became covered in sand, resembling a desert. The Cactus Lamp was created in a similar manner: by carving a block of sand and setting it with resin. It features a hand-blown glass element.
