The base is heavy. Whole lamp is nice and solidly made. Was easy to assemble even without looking at the instructions :) Even comes with a bulb. Im trying to think of where I can put another one in my teensy apartment because its so nice and worth every penny.

This product had the cleverest packing I have ever seen. And solid! The directions were easy to follow and complete, even for this 74 year old girl to put together in minutes. It is plain, also sturdy and functional. I like it very much.

This is the same exact lamp offered by another retailer for more than double the price, sold as their own product. Quality is great, it feels heavy and well-made, and the shade doesnt look shiny like they often do on cheap lamps. Dont overpay!

Really very happy with this lamp. It provides ample lighting for our large living area. I am posting 4 stars because I wish it was a little bit taller in height.
